The Recaldent™ is a derivative from milk's protein: caseine. For several years it's known the protective effect of milk over the teeth. Studies show this effect is due to the Caseine's Phosphopeptide (CPP), that carries the calcium and phosphate ions in the shape of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP).

The Tooth Mousse, is the first product of professional use that contains the complex CPP-ACP (Recaldent™), it is the ideal transport system of calcium and phosphate ions bio-available. The CPP-ACP were developed on School of Dental Science of Melbourne Victoria University (Australia).
